Independent Surveyor
Many Damp contractors offer free or reduced fee surveys but it must be remembered that they are also trying trying to sell you work and so they are not offering independent advice. This is why Independent damp surveyors are often the best solution to get honest and expert advice.
I am independent so I am not a sales person. When I survey your property I will only be doing this to offer you advice, solutions and to advise you on estimated costs that will be incurred when and if you chose to have a contractor or builder carry out remedial works.

This will be in the way of verbal advice and also a detailed, easy to understand, written survey report with attached photographs.
I’m fully trained and qualified to be an expert witness, if called upon by a solicitor or the courts, where there is a dispute between two parties. I’m able to produce a report complying with part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
